| Introduction | I'm an Academic Developer at MIT. I began my teaching career as a secondary school English teacher. Since then I have taught Communications at AUT and ESOL in Vienna, founded a PTE on Auckland's North Shore, managed the Pathways programme and been a staff developer at AUT, and over the last 5 years led the national literacy professional development programme based on the Learning Progressions. I have two adult children. Jo is a photographer now living in London, and Paul is (nearly) a Quantity Surveyor. |
