The Who, The Who, Hawkwind in all their guises and especially the Space Ritual formed by Nik Turner latterly, Robert Calvert as a solo artist and some Motorhead, well up to about 1981 or so, gets a bit samey after that, Early Motorhead live were, totally, explosive, Punk 76 - 78, Which group though, probably the Clash due to memories of the Roundhouse etc, also but not limited to AC/DC (Bon Scott era) UFO, Cheap Trick, Lurkers, Undertones, Carbon/Silicon, www.carbonsiliconinc.com/, Blues music, and Black Coffee, .Oh yes Procol Harum, first group i ever saw if you discount the support - John Miles, Brunel Uni March 1976. Though i have to admit to seeing Cliff Richard live (twice i am afraid to say) on Christian events, Hayes Grammar live 1975, some early Cliff, acoustic, pretty cool i thought, `Move it` and `Batchelor Boy` plus others if i recall. |
