Local Nomad

| Introduction | Lottie graduated from Central St Martins in Fine Art in 2010, her work exists between sculpture, installation and photography. Working in void spaces in the outside world she allows the environment and surroundings dictate what she creates. Using the power of a photograph to capture a fleeting moment. Lottie and Amy’s work stems from similar influences; the colors in a landscape, form and structure, people and their habitats. Although the outcome is very different, their work compliments each other perfectly. Lottie is a committed member of Forest School Camps; a children’s charity leading camping trips that promote freedom and education from experience. Lottie also works for Raw Canvas at Tate Modern, running peer-to-peer courses, workshops and events. The Local Nomad ethos stems from the combination of Lottie and Amy’s ideas and beliefs of art and its place in education. Lottie hopes, with Local Nomad, to challenge the view of arts within education. By celebrating unique creative minds, allowing freedom and learning from experience. |
