| Introduction | Well, I am a graduate of Texas A&M University and Lamar University. I am currently working on my doctorate at Lamar University. I have been teaching for 15 years and am currently trying to get into the administration side of education. When I am not teaching, or taking classes, I spend as much time as I can with my pointer Nuala (pronounced new-la), my heeler Jack and my family. But most of all, I am a Chiari Warrior. I will do my best to get the word out about Chiari and hope and pray one day there is a cure. |
| Interests | Aggie baseball (really any baseball), football not professional, hunting, fishing, ya know, the stuff any good texas woman loves... |
| Favorite movies | I love all the good OLD horror flicks. You know, the ones that when you walked out of the movie you thought it was a good movie, but that night you find yourself sitting in the middle of your bed with every light on. The good horror flicks are the ones that mess with your mind, not have a bunch of blood and gore. Of course, I also love things like Blazing Saddles, Monty Python, Robin Hood - Men in Tights, Bull Durham, 61*, Sandlot, etc. |
| Favorite music | I don't have any one type of music I call my favorite, it all depends on what I am doing at the time. In my classroom I play classical, classic rock, instrumental, etc. At home lazing around it can be country, pop, 80s, etc. Working out is typically heavy metal, death metal, hard rock, etc. So it all just depends. |
| Favorite books | I absolutely love to read. I love just about anything although I do not particularly like historical fiction. Right now I am reading 2 different series. I am reading the Eve Dallas series by JD Robb and the Psy/Changeling series by Nalina Singh. They are both completely different genres, but they both hold my attention right now. |
You've successfully slain the dragon! How will you toast your marshmallows?
After slaying the dragon, the only way to toast marshmallows is by building a fire. Since I am a closet pyro, this is no problem. On the other hand, I'm not sure I would slay the dragon. Dragons are too cool to get rid of. :)
