IntroductionI was a twelve year old girl from Orange County when I decided I wanted to be part of the movie making magic. I had Mr. Clint Eastwood to thank for that, he inspired me to want to study film today and one day pursue my dream as a screen writer, film composer, and director. I remember being so young and watching old classic films with my grandpa and always staying up to date on the latest films that were being nominated or being recognized by critics. It was almost as if we had created our own little film club that met on weekends and would veg out in front of the TV. I would learn all the classic lines like “Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?” from Clint Eastwood’s Dirty Harry role to “Fiddle-dee-dee” from Vivien Leigh’s Scarlett O’Hara role. Movies became my dream and the stories would become my fantasy world. I have always admired the directors that would show us and invite us into their worlds. It was a talent that was recognized and studied. Now almost being done with film school, I can only hope that I am one step closer to pursuing my dream and landing a career with my dream studio Warner Bros.
