Introduction	Cathy has been an equestrian instructor and trainer for over 25 years. Raised and educated in England, she learned to ride in the classic school of horsemanship. She competed extensively as a member of a team and as an individual both in dressage and eventing. On graduating from college, she moved to the United States in 1981. After teaching high school for 3 years she decided to resume her horse riding career and began providing instruction at several local farms. Cathy's straight forward, patient, and yet determined style of teaching attracts students of all levels from near and far. Cathy has the ability to explain to the student and the horse how to proceed on the simplest step by step path towards their goal, whatever that may be. She has experience training horses and their riders towards excellence in most disciplines ranging from cross country and trail riding to Dressage and Hunter/Jumpers. Her students have had great successes in whatever their chosen discipline. These have ranged from helping owners to achieve daily training goals to coaching students to top ribbons at National Hunter/Jumper Finals.
