| Introduction | I spent over 20 years as a successful business consultant to Fortune 500 companies like Coca Cola and Minute Maid. In 2003, claiming my real passion, I threw away that corporate suit to live a more creatively fulfilled life. Which means I began again. After training as a certified professional coach, I leveraged my business experience to help other women create and nurture their own business dreams. As I did that I also began to write, paint and explore the textile arts. Today I proudly claim the labels of artist, author, podcast host and creative business mentor. I also use my communication skills to help small business teams become more effective, both within the office and with their external contacts. In addition, I help micro and small businesses create compelling content and leverage their online presence. I indulge my ‘artsy’ side by sharing my creative journey on my blog AprillesStudio.com. I will be adding a new podcast to that later in the spring. My vision is to build and nurture a creative community where creative souls can come out to play and feel safe.
