Introduction	Trained as a painter and printmaker at the National Gallery School, Melbourne, Australia under Ian Armstrong, John Brack and Marc Clark. I practiced as a printmaker off and on while I made a living as a Librarian. I moved from suburban Melbourne to the Environmental Living Zone just north of the city 20 years ago. You can see me inside this house at the beginning of the blog. I started coming to London to research Australian artists in London in the 1950s and 1960s, using the archives of Alannah Coleman. I wrote my thesis (held at Deakin University, Melbourne and Tate Gallery Archives, London) on the work Coleman did to promote the Australians living and working in this city. For the past decade I have travelled back and forth between the two cities - no longer quite knowing where I live. Now I am over 60 years of age, I am trying to come to terms with what happened to all those years...and to hope and plan that all sorts of wonderful things happen next.
