| Introduction | I am a mom of 4 busy boys and one little princess. (Or so she says) I love being a mom even though it is hard on the nerves and my sanity is challaged daily. My husband just decided to venture back out to the road and is once again a long-haul truck driver. So for the 2-3 weeks in the month I am a singe working mom. I drive school bus for our local school and love every minute of it. People always ask how I can handle all the kids and I quickly remind them I have 5 of my own so what is a few more. One of my boys is Autistic and Bipolar and another one is classic ADHD. So needless to say life is very caotic. I am very active in our local Childrens Mental Health Council and try to get the word out about mental illness and stigma. Chris and I have been married 9 yrs and have to work everyday on making it work. I guess that is how marriage works. I don't usually have "Spare" time but when I do, I do it by sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, reading, Twilighting, movies, photography, and any thing else I can get into. |
