| Introduction | I grew up in a large family of mostly boys. When I was 8 years old I started watching my cousins and nieces when their parents were home, to give them a bit of a break. I LOVED it! When my brother or sister would babysit a neighbor or friend, I would be right there helping out. I actually thought I was 'winning' when I would convince them to let me change a diaper! I have been with kids since, and am loving every minute of it. My dream is to become a behavioral therapist, I'd say that is my true passion. In the mean time, I run a small daycare out of my home, started a preschool, and after school program. I'm slowly working up the ladder, and hope to get to the top one day. I worked in a volunteer daycare, and on up to a before/after school care program, which also gave me the opportunity to work at a preschool, which I had no idea I would love so much. During the school year, I run an in-home daycare. While during the summer months, I run a summer camp. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get back out there and spend some time with the kids, instead of in an office job! I am always up to chat and would be happy to talk to anyone! |
