| Introduction | My deep and continuing concern about Earth's rising temperatures (global heating), destruction of nature (loss of biodiversity) and the insatiable focus on profit and growth (ignoring UN Sustainability Goals) have left me very worried about the kind of world my grandchildren will inherit. So much of my 'retirement’ has involved building an eco house, rewilding the land around it, encouraging my breeding barn owls, and working with conservation organisations including WWF, WWT, FOE, Greenpeace, A Rocha (EcoChurch). Locally I work with Strattord Methodist Church, Stratford Climate Action, Mickleton Parish Council and support practical local action to address these issues and try to make the world a fairer, cleaner, more ethical, more sustainable place for everyone, everywhere.
