About me

Introduction	I list. Perhaps in the nautical sense, but mostly in the pen and paper sense. I like and need to make lists. I enjoy re-reading my lists months and years later. I enjoy their juxtapositions with other items in notebooks or in drawers or boxes or forgotten corners. A collection of lists provides an almost poetic glimpse into the history of the every-day. Were I an historian or archaeologist on excavation, a notebook full of to-do lists and shopping lists would be a most treasured find. I would even like to think that in some distant future my descendents or unknown strangers will find not unpublished manuscripts nor secret diaries, but instead the poetry of my lists, in which they might see the life that I lived.
