Introduction	I am an Artist who works out of my home studio in the Chesapeake area in Virginia. A love for art and the need to create has always been a part of me, but it wasn't until my 30's did I decide to embrace that love by enrolling in a local community college where I could study Visual Arts. I taught elementary art (PreK-5th) for three years and then a home school co-op (3rd-12th) for two years. I enjoy teaching, but I found that I'm most happy in the studio creating. When I'm not in my studio you can find digging in the yard, tending to my chickens and dogs, whipping up something in the kitchen, or starting another DIY project.
