| Introduction | I am excited to be taking U.S. Government. I hope when I am done with the course I will have a better understanding of the national government. I am an active voter and the first campaign I voted in was the Kerry-Bush election. I voted in the last campaign, and after taking Texas government I would like to become a more active voter locally. That is about as much political experience I have had so far and not a whole lot of political influence. Political Ideology quiz rated me "Liberal" but I think I have a few conservative views. I am taking U.S. Government because it is required of my degree plan but I agree with the requirement of having to take government classes to obtain a degree in Texas. I needed to learn this again as a more mature adult. As far as the other two quizzes we have had to take so far I scored a 9 on the current events quiz, and scored 20 out of 33 correctly on the civics quiz. I honestly guessed on almost half of the questions, so it was just luck getting 20 out of 30 right. |
