| Introduction | Center for Ecological Audit and Governance has been established under the auspices of Labour League Foundation in collaboration of Sewa, Delhi and Sufi rust for meeting the knowledge, capacity building, and networking and communication needs of the organisations involved in application of the sustainability index, conduct of ecological audit, measurement of ecological footprints, measurement of the ecological rucksacks and supporting the cause of the alternative definitions of the gross domestic product, growth, development that are in congruence with the demands of the eco-safety, bio-safety, ecological sustainability and interspecies justice.It offers the analytical and advisory services and organises knowledge workshops on ecological audit with capacity building for public and private sector organisations, government agencies, UN agencies and other inter-governmental and international agencies involved in ecologically safe and environmentally sustainable development. It is involved in networking for social inclusive and ecologically safe governance for ensuring that people across the world work for ecologically safe neighbourhoods. |
