Introduction	Amanda Bruno is currently an agate clerk at The Republican located in Springfield, Mass. and Boston Bruins blogger for its online home on MassLive.com Bruno is a graduate of Curry College located in Milton, Massachusetts where she earned her bachelor's degree in Communication with a concentration in Journalism and minor in English. She was the editor-in-chief of The Currier Times and became the first student at Curry to intern at The Boston Globe where she covered high school sports along with other duties for two years. Before college, Bruno worked for the Agawam Advertiser News for three years as a sportswriter covering Agawam High School sports. She also worked in the Sports Information office at Western New England College where she played a key role in developing its new athletics' website wnecgoldenbears.com.
