| Introduction | Tracy Dizon is often coined to be “The Filipina Betsey Johnson” by many fashion enthusiasts and deeply considers Betsey Johnson her most revered Fashion Icon. Tracy is a 36-year-old Fashion Designer & Milliner who recently migrated to New York with her son to continue to pursue her New York Dream of becoming a world renounced fashion designer; born and raised in Manila, Philippines. Tracy is a two-time New York Fashion Designer Competition Winner both in 2017 & 2018 and was awarded sponsored show at the New York Fashion Week [Fashion Week Brooklyn]. She is a seasoned-in-her-own-right fashion designer became a Costume Designer for Film and TV, fashion stylist and a university lecturer in University of the Philippines Diliman. Tracy Dizon’s notable credentials: Project Runway Philippines Season 2 Finalist (2009) and Philippine Representative to the 47th Japan Fashion Design Contest in Tokyo (2009) Her last NYFW show, Spring-Summer 2019 Collection “Pinoy Pop Life” became the closing finale of the Spring Summer 2019 Fashion Week Brooklyn show at the Brooklyn Borough Hall. |
