Introduction As the author of Death of a Bebop Wife, the biography of jazz master of bebop piano: AL HAIG, the chosen pianist of Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie, I have lived in layers of my life, loving the music, more than the man, hence I have written a jazz history book, a murder mystery about one of the young bloods of the bebop revolution.
Interests At present I am writing MY MOMMY DEAREST: You are who you are from what your mother told you ... and did not tell you, interviewing women from all walks of life who will help me weave a tapestry of allowing them, and me, to see who we really on on this journey called life. After my book launch in Las Vegas at A. J.'s at The Hard Rock Hotel on April 16, 2007, for DEATH OF A BEBOP WIFE, by Grange "Lady Haig" Rutan, published by Cadence Jazz Books, about my first husband: AL HAIG, the chosen pianist of Charlie "Bird" Parker, John Birks "Dizzy" Gillespie and later Stan Getz I have returned to my MONTCLAIR roots and am a member of THE PIT CREW restoring the legacy of Butch Fortunato and Clary Anderson, referbishing over 1, 000 trophies, plaques and movies found in the basement of Montclair High School.

How do you pronounce the 'g' in bologna?

When whipperwills call and evening is nigh...they hurry to my blue heaven...with a smiling face.
