| Introduction | I'm a 36-year African American female, who has been serving my country in the Army for 17-years, yeah I know I look like I'm 12, you should see my braces (again after 25-year, thanks lupus and prednisone). I've been married to a fellow service member for 13-years. He's currently in Afghanistan, I was there last year. I'm going to school, working traveling a ton and going to the dog park to keep my mind off the ongoings over there. Stress causes me flares which can put me out for the count for days at a time. I hope to show you how it is to walk in the shoes of someone with a chronic illness. |
