| Introduction | I am a working girl with a pretty serious love for food, cooking, running, and exploring NYC. I've got an on-the-run job, and an on-the-run social life, but I love slowing down for a minute for some serious food talk. Enter blog. The creation of this blog actually came at the suggestion of a couple of friends who share both my everlasting love of food as well as my more recent love of food blogs. There are a handful that have become part of my daily reading routine, and I generally find them relate-able, exciting, yummy, and fun. Yet one of the things I've noticed about many of these healthy-lifestyle bloggers is that they (a) do not have "traditional" jobs, and (b) are married (or coupled, at the very least). I love reading recipe suggestions, discovering new products, looking at foodie photos, etc., but the lifestyle many of these women lead is just not compatible with my own. And so I give you: Freya on the Run! A single, young, strong woman professional ventures to eat and live healthfully while working lots and constantly being on the road. Enjoy! |
