| Introduction | MOM,SC originated out of one woman's suffering over the loss of her once comfortable life. She found herself to be a single mother caring for the needs of her newborn son and 2 year-old-daughter. She would find herself on a path of continuous fear and tragic events, until she discovered what it meant and felt like to know the presence of God and to form a relationship with the only One who could fulfill each and every need. Although faced with much, no challenge has quite compared to that of being a single parent of two very young children. Knowing all too well she isn't alone, and feeling truly blessed by what God has done for her in the midst of tragedy, she longs to connect with other single parents who are raising children alone and for them to know joy is possible when Christ is at the center of it all. |
