Introduction	The Pioneers is the Official Newsletter of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) founded by the pioneering batch of Bachelor of Arts in Communication of Holy trinity College of General Santos City. The students behind the birth of this newsletter are Aliene Pearl D. Condez, Chrysa Hazelene J. Sabuelo and Devine Grace C. Alberca with the support of their moderator, Ms. Beverly Anne Santos. It was formerly named as The CAS Society, a 4-page newsletter released in 2015 and was later changed into The Pioneers. The first volume was an 8-page newsletter which consists of 4 news article, 2 news-feature articles, an editorial, 3 columns, 1 short story, 6 poems and 4 sayings. The last page was a gallery of the Red Dragons during the Intramural Days 2016. It was released before the end of the 1st semester of S.Y. 2016-2017. And now this 2nd semester, a Weekly Edition was introduced. A 2-page newsletter which features 2 news articles and 1 saying for the front page. Students in their best outfits were featured for the Weekly Wednesday Wardrobe, 1 selected literary piece for the Contributor’s Corner and top 4 complaints from the students for the FeedBox. Release will be every Monday.
