Introduction	My interest in wildlife and all aspects of the natural world started from a very early age especially starting with picture books of Lions and Tigers etc. Then, with my uncle, watching wild badgers as a boy excited me so much I shivered with excitement. Looking in books went so far but I wanted to see the animals and birds in the wild for real and took up my passion - birdwatching for serious - in 1970. It has held me ever since. I started mothing in 2015 and I am hooked !
Interests	My family of course. Birding seriously since 1970 ! and starting in 2015 - Mothing. I love all aspects of wildlife - and like my local patch of North Halifax
Favorite movies	Bond Films, 24, Westerns
Favorite music	Most of it- especially from the 60's. Anything with a good beat ! Light classical and some church music. Favourite composer - Rachmaninoff
Favorite books	Collins Bird Guide, Field Guide to the Moths of Great Britain and Ireland (Waring Townsend and Lewington), A Christmas Carol (Charles Dickens), Parts of The Bible,
