| Introduction | I am an Air Force Veteran of the Cold War and the First Gulf War (Operation Desert Storm). I live on a wooded hilltop with my two rescued dogs, Yogi and Ranger, and two rescued cats, White Sox, and Mittens. We share my land with several deer, a family of red-tailed hawks, a barn owl, numerous squirrels (that my dogs and the cat tree together), a family of pileated woodpeckers and numerous cottontail rabbits, and an occasional opossum or raccoon. |
| Interests | History, Astronomy, the War Between the States (or War of Northern Aggression), Gardening and Tending my land, Religion and Spirituality, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Military and National Security Matters, Foreign Affairs, taking care of my 2002 Ford F-150 and my 1988 Ford Bronco. I am the proud descendant of many Confederate Veterans, and one (that I know of) Union Veteran. My ancestors have served in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Seminole Wars, the Mexican-American War, the War Between the States, World War I and World War II, the Cold War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and my family has served in the First and Second Gulf Wars, and the War in Afghanistan. |
