He has drawn praise from Southern organizations, and has been called a "professional Southerner" and "modern day fireater" for his study and loyal defense of the American South. In addition to work in radio and television, he is the author of "The History of Kentucky Through the Parks," the former editor of "The Evangel," and wrote the syndicated column "Under the Kudzu." Additionally, and, perhaps, most importantly, he is an advocate for children. |
