Introduction	Cristi Reed quite literally walked into her passion for Family History. At the age of 17, as a young college freshman, she discovered the Family history library at BYU. The information drew her to the large drawers of microfilm. Cristi enjoyed college-level courses in Family History and majored in Microbiology with Secondary Education. She extracted DNA in Dr. Scott Woodward lab for a time. Dr. Woodward, one of the pioneers of genetic genealogy, accepted her because of her love of Microbiology and Family History. Cristi has helped numerous people understand different websites and aspects of Family History. She has more than twenty-five years of research experience. Cristi is working toward Accreditation in the Mid-Atlantic States. She is currently working toward an Associates' degree in Family History Research to review and update her technique.
