| Introduction | I may look normal but the truth is I'm not. I have a rare muscle inflammatory disease. (Don't worry it's not contagious;-)) It's called Polymyositis. Basically my immune system is mistakingly attacking my muscles causing them to become inflamed. No-one knows what causes this illness and there's no cure, so I just have to live with it. It can have periods of remission (when the disease is less active) but also have flare ups and relapses. These days I'm just concentrating on being happy and taking one day at a time. :-) |
