| Introduction | Being stories such a high water mark in people’s memory, teaching through them might help in the process of learning English as a Foreign Language and especially in learning vocabulary, a very important part of learning a language. As some writers state, the more words you know, the better your understanding and production. The lack of motivating material to assist the learning process focused on vocabulary is the main motivation to propose this research project which will contribute with a useful tool by means of illustrations, repetitions and diverse activities will help both, students and language teachers inject their teaching practice with playful and motivating activities to back up the learning-teaching process. The purpose of this research project is to analyze the possible impact of story reading in vocabulary learning and to explore students’ vocabulary learning strategies through the use of short stories. |
