| Introduction | The mission of Women In Jazz, Inc., is to expand the public access to and appreciation for the contributions of women to jazz. We do this by giving women musicians opportunities to record and distribute their music, give public concerts and educational clinics that provide and expand opportunities for women in jazz. We also offer hands-on experience for participants who are interested in jazz musicianship. This effort provides strong positive female role models for future generations of jazz fans and musicians.
