About me

Introduction	Natasja was born in Amersfoort, the Netherlands to an American father and a Dutch mother. Her father's work took their family from Holland, to Florida (USA), to Belgium and back at Holland again. All before the age of 17. Her life experiences as a Third Culture Kid moving from country to country and the understanding of the impact this has had on her adolescent and adult life have inspired her to reach out to children in similar situations. Knowing the trials and tribulations that children and teens face under these circumstances. She hopes her books will reach other "Kids on the Move" to give them support, helping them feel less alone in their journey. Her books offer comfort to help deal with the emotions of separation and loss. But also inspire kids to gasp how special and unique they are and to help them see the benefits of having such rich cultural and social life experiences. Natasja has a bachelors degree in Cultural and Social Education from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. She enjoys working with children, writing and reading, photography, theater, traveling, spending time with friends and family.
