| Introduction | Two college students with a little extra time on their hands during this frigid month of January decide to bake their way through the cold dreary days. Using primarily butter, sugar, and flour, they create the most wonderful confections. Why baking, you might ask? Baking, unlike mere cooking, allows the artist to combine ingredients otherwise unpalatable to a human, to create substances far more excellent in nature. This metamorphosis of ingredients intrigues and beguiles these two scholars, compelling them to raise up their rolling pins and rubber scrapers in arms, in order that they too might master the art of baking! |
