| Introduction | I'm an M.D. (Medical Devotee) and The MedSchool Project was my idea! In Year 11, I realised that no club was available for those who wanted to become doctors. After a few emails to several teachers (and exercising some organisation skills!), I founded the Medical Club at Ashby School, a little "society" for those who are interested in medical ethics and debates. From weekly meetings blossomed debates and discussions ranging from abortion and euthanasia to the role of nurses and organ transplants. After I volunteered at a local hospital and a nursing home and gained a wider view of healthcare, the MedSchool Project was conceived. As project manager and editor, my role is to plan and develop our series of blogs and vlogs, edit the contents, if necessary, and coordinate with the team to give feedback to improve the project, as well as to publicise our blog, to share our passion with you! |
