Kathryn Humphries Musical Updates

Introduction	Born and raised in Victoria B.C., Kathryn Humphries completed her B.Mus in Vocal Performance at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, and her M.Mus at Université de Montréal. Kathryn spent her summers busking with her harp on the causeway of Victoria's Inner Harbour and selling her CDs "Harbour Lights" and "In Praise of Christmas". She continued with her vocal studies at the Universität für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Vienna, Austria, where she was a member of the Vokalensemble St. Stephan and the Arnold Schönberg Chor. She has sung at the Theater an der Wien, the Salzburg Festival, and the Styriarte Festival under Nikolaus Harnoncourt. She went on to pursue an Education degree in Edinburgh UK, and now she teaches music at St. Michaels University School and is a member of the voice faculty at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
