| Introduction | I am a wife, mother, student and FT caregiver of both of my in laws. I am currently in the process of seeking my nursing degree. I have a while before I will be there so in the mean time I am a stay at home mom with two beautiful children. A son that is 8 and a daughter that is 2. I made the decision to leave my career of 9 years as a retail manager in December of 2012. My husband and I felt that it was time that someone stepped in to assist his parents with daily living. When he asked me if I would consider leaving my career and taking on the responsibility of his parents, I had no idea what I was about to endure. My purpose for this blog is to remind me every single day that there is something positive in every situation. I will not lie and tell you that this has been an easy journey, it has been one of the toughest journey's I have ever ventured on. I get overwhelmed and tired like any mother, wife, student care giver does. I needed a place to go that was all my own and so now I am here, sharing with you A Caregiver's Tale. |
