Introduction Currently serving in Higher Education, I formerly worked as the Dean of Students for, Currey Ingram Academy, in Brentwood, TN, a preparatory academy specifically designed for students with learning differences. In addition, I've served in a federal capacity as Director of Special Projects for former U.S. Congressman Van Hilleary (R). I've also worked as a teacher and administrator in both public and private school settings (faith-based and secular). But who am I really? I'm an everyday person: an American,a dad, a husband, a Sunday School teacher, and a blogger who is learning the benefit of living a Raw Faith. That means, telling it like it is in love, loving the unloveable, not worrying about what others think, and being available even when it may be inconvenient. It means doing everything to the best of my abilities and not being afraid to screw up in front of others. The definition of "raw" is: painfully exposed or open, natural, uncultivated, unrefined, unprocessed and undiluted. That's what I believe we need to be as Christians. People need to see less pretense and more humanity.

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?

I'd tell them I don't need a statue. I need them to feed people, clothe people, love people in the name of Jesus, and if they must have a statue it should be a Cross of Wood symbolizing our Victory in Christ through His power and might, and more importantly, His grace.
