| Introduction | After my birth in October 1987 I've lived in a city for only 4 years before I would spend the rest of my childhood on the countryside. In the green polders of the west of the Netherlands I lost myself in the wonderful world of wildlife and besides school most of my time was spent on watching birds. Later I started to get interested in nature photography and a couple of holiday trips to various destinations awoke my passion for travelling. A study in biology was only a logical next step and in july 2010 I graduated as ecologist with specializations in birds and (plant) seed dispersal. During my studies I met my beloved girlfriend Jonne who shares my love for nature. Together we are still exploring the beauty of the living creatures that surround us and who are we to keep it all for ourselves? That's why I will share some of our experiences with you on this weblog. I hope you will, like us, keep being amazed by nature's beauty. |
