| Introduction | I am a daughter, a loyal friend, a half sister to many & step sister to a few. I am a recovering alcoholic and ex-call girl who sniffed cocaine, and still, i like to think, a thoroughly pleasant person who is living in London. I've survived an intense journey of pain and a compulsion to self- destruct. This started with my mother vanishing on me when i was 5 years old. Ok, I could have felt with my pain better, but I didn't. I didn't manage it at all well...I didn't know how. Later came depression, alcohol, drugs, prostitution, sugar daddies, members' bars & clubs. Eventually this lead to my emotional collapse, then came rehab #1, then rehab #2 and the slow and desperate effort to change. Now? Well, now I write. My first book, HOOKED is about what happened. My second book, UNHOOKED is about rehab and how I got free of myself. Both books are published by MAINSTREAM PUBLISHING.
