Introduction	I make pictures. I am fortunate to only have to please myself. That's difficult enough. I don't see how people can try to please everybody. I confess to being a geek compared to most people, but I'm a conflicted one. The technical challenges were one of the first things that drew me to photography. I've come to discover it is much more than that. I'm an engineer by training and I work in a high tech world of software architecture and development. On the other hand one of my passions is designing for users, doing user experience design and UI design. Making images (that I like) is a blend of both of those sides and I think it helps me keep my balance. And the older and more experienced I get, I think it helps me understand.
