Introduction	PNM is sanctioned by the Federal Territory Amateur Athletics Association (F.T.A.A.A) and Malaysian Amateur Athletics Union (MAAU). It is also supported by the Ministry of Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Perbadanan Putrajaya and National Fitness Council (NFC). It is owned and organized by Twenty First Century Sports (M) Sdn Bhd PNM debuted in 2010, receiving an overwhelming response from over 10,000 runners both locally and internationally. In 2011 the sequel of the marathon was held on the 15th of October 2011 with again about 10,000 registered runners. BSN came on board as the title sponsor, while NTV7 and The Malay Mail were the media partners. Other partners include Brooks, 100 Plus, Milo and PowerBar. Now known as BSNPutrajaya Night Marathon 2012 (BSNPNM), the event will be held on the 20th October 2012.
