Introduction	Ara & Miriam are Hot Mama Hikers! We each have a beautiful little boy that takes our breath away, and we each have a soul that needs refreshing by way of the great wide open. heeheehee. We also have wonderful, supportive husbands, without them our love of hiking could never reach it's full potential. We are both avid hand crafters and enjoy our time working on various heart-felt projects. Ara started hiking when she was seven and has never stopped. In 2005 Ara and her husband hiked more than 300 miles along the Appalachian Trail. Ara has also danced ballet since she was four. So, as you can see she really sticks to what she likes. I, Miriam; have always been a girl of the open sky but now have an experienced guide and good friend to lead the way. I have worked many different jobs but my favorite is working in a library setting. The HMH started last summer when Ara needed to 'get away' I looked at her with glossy eyes and said in a little voice "can i come too?" She said "Sure. Let's go!" and it has been love ever since.
