IntroductionThe Mean Value Theorem states that, given two definable end points on an undisrupted curve, there should be some point "c" that is tangent to the secant line from "a" to "b." Furthermore, that point "c" could also only share a tangent line value with a handful of other points - if any. We'll call this a metaphor.
