| Introduction | Hello! My name is Karielle but you can call me "Kay" if you have trouble pronouncing it :) One of my passions is travelling. It is so refreshing to see new places and meet new people. Travelling is one of the best ways to get away from the repetitiveness of life. The next place I hope to visit soon is Cancun, Mexico. Presently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Nursing Education. The journey has been an interesting one thus far and a bit stressful at times but I remind myself that hard work pays off. Learning is something we should never stop doing because knowledge is power and that knowledge should be passed on. When it comes to technology, I do know a thing or two but there is a lot more I can learn about it. I have observed that a lot of young persons in their early 20’s are entering the nursing profession and they are very knowledgeable about technology. It is, therefore, necessary that nurse educators be tech savvy in order to teacher this age group on a level they can understand. I look forward to enhancing my knowledge in this area to effectively educate the next generation of nurses. |
