| Introduction | I have always been attracted to the precision and beauty of botanical art, the way a flower or piece of fruit can look very real and yet reflect the artist’s sense of the object’s “personality.” My first teacher was the master artist Cori Lapin-Cohen at Lasdon Arboretum in Northern Westchester. Now I have decided to expand my technique by working toward a certificate in botanical illustration at the New York Botanical Garden. |
