| Introduction | I am an actor/musician/data entry clerk (guess which job actually makes money) who was politically independent before George W Bush was appointed to the Office of President by a partisan and biased Supreme Court. Since then, I have become an outspoken Democrat. Seeing the abuses of power by the Bush Administration and the Republican-controlled Congress since 2001 has made me angrier and more active. Just like most of the people in the U.S., I do not have the ability to reach millions via television or radio, nor do i have the money to support the many politicians or causes I believe in. Thankfully, the internet allows me do to what little a can with a little blog that may end up doing very little for the things I believe in. In this world, a little may be all that each person can do, but if we all do a little together, we can do a lot. Thanks to the internet, our country, and our world, is one step closer to being a true democracy, where everyone has a voice in government, not just those who have the money to buy the government. -Bryan Arnold |
