About me

Location Los Angeles, So. California, United States
Introduction After many years using my creative talents on my house and veggie and flower gardens, I'm now concentrating on another LOVE of mine: creating jewelry and decorative arts for others to enjoy. I get my inspiration from nature, and my travels. It's just too hard to limit my creative direction. (I could never shop in White House/Black Market) So I will create 'pretties' depending on my fancy at the time. For the last several years, I've been fortunate to take classes with teachers using various mediums in So. Calif locales while I tried to settle on ONE Passion to specialize in. While learning from the teachers at Farrin O'Connor in Pasadena and The Shepherdess Beads in San Diego, I've benefited from seeing the varied talents of fellow students. How inspiring. Carl Stanely, a Santa Barbara jeweler taught me many metal working skills; Pam East excels in enamel on Precious Metal Clay. Sherri Haab taught me photo transfer techniques on metal and Fiona Wright taught me a new passion in my life: Nuno Felting.
