| Introduction | Gary D. Herwitz founded CoMetrics Partners LLC in 2005. Today, as Managing Partner of the New York City consulting firm, Herwitz improves the business processes of middle market companies. Gary D. Herwitz has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Syracuse University and over 30 years of experience in international business and finance. CoMetrics assists companies at all stages of their business cycles. Recently, Gary D. Herwitz worked with the founders of Campus Candy, a sweets and novelty chain that markets more than 500 varieties of candy to students, faculty, and staff at large universities like Indiana University, the University of Wisconsin, and The Pennsylvania State University. Herwitz helped the entrepreneurs behind Campus Candy develop a strong business plan and attract investors. He introduced them to private equity and took them through the entire funding process. Finally, CoMetrics implemented the company's information technology systems and financial procedures. Today, Campus Candy has retail outlets on five large campuses and plans to expand in the near future. Moret develop an appropriate e-commerce strategy for the new acquisition. |
