Introduction	The Flying Shrink began this blog when he was late in his training for the private pilot certificate. In order to support his flying habit and his family, he is a practicing clinical psychologist in the Chicagoland area where he focuses on psychotherapy with adults and older adults. He specializes in men's issues, relationship concerns, and compulsive destructive behaviors. He also conducts psychological evaluations for the court. The Flying Shrink is a core faculty member in the clinical psychology PhD program at Walden University, where he teaches courses in personality assessment, psychopathology, ethics and professional standards, and practical training courses (though any views expressed here do not necessarily reflect the policy of this or any other entity or organization with which he is affiliated).
