Introduction A meaningful relationship with nature can build up your resilience to stress, reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression and can even help with your sleep. As well as the personal benefits that building up a connection to nature can bring, it is believed to positively influence our attitudes and behaviours towards the environment. As our UK population is concentrated within urban environments, accessing high quality nature spaces, such as reserves, isn’t always possible. However, with guidance on where and how to look, nature can be accessible to everyone, every day. The Take a Nature Break project has been set up to inspire you to engage with nature, based around the ‘pathways of nature connection’. So, get involved and begin to strengthen your relationship with nature, it can benefit your health and ultimately, our planet. We want to know if our project has been useful, so interactions with the blog content may be used to help evaluate the project.
