| Introduction | Faith, abundant life experience, professional training, and hunger for intelligence have been guiding forces in my life. Now I am a man, independent, Black, and free. I devote my energy to the healing and improvement of humanity. Through my research and psychology practice, I am able to build helping relationships with countless people. Still, helping isn't easy and often isn't pretty. It is work, and it is as deleterious as it is fulfilling. Expressing myself in the written word is freeing for me. I sublimate through pain (both inward and surrounding me) when I write. I know my words are immortal and reach out into the world beyond my sight, influencing the multiple realities in which we all live. |
