| Introduction | I’m a retiree recently into birding, after a relatively modest introduction via a U3A garden survey project at Eltham Palace Gardens in 2012. That got me hooked on watching and photographing birds, although I still have a lot to learn and possibly need to upgrade my camera... In my blog I’m going to try and focus on areas which don’t seem to get regular sighting reports, ranging from my local park (Dulwich Park in SE London), which is surprisingly good for birds at certain seasons, to the wonderful Riverside Country Park near Gillingham in Kent, which I’ve only recently discovered. |
